Slane Wedding Photography – Conyngham Arms

slane wedding photography couple

There was a bit of magic in the air on this beautiful Autumnal wedding day. Generally, Slane wedding photography is a fantastic experience, and this day was no exception. Lisa and Dane created a joyful, relaxed, and intimate ceremony while forgetting about the world around them. Because of this it really was a privilege to be there and capture the many beautiful moments.

Firstly there was the picturesque and historical venue: the Conyngham Arms. This uniquely restored coaching inn was an amazing place for such a warm and personal wedding. In particular, the textures, colours, and setting contributed to the atmosphere of the day. Slane itself is a scenic village, which we explored during the couple shoot for a breath of fresh air. The whole day was relaxed and full of joyful emotion, unquestionably helped by the morning preparations, ceremony, and reception being held in the same venue. For couples who want a similarly stress free day with no hopping in and out of cars, I always recommend trying to keep the whole wedding in one great location.

For me, that’s undeniably fantastic! Above all, I’m all about letting natural moments happen and finding the story of a couple’s connection. For instance, if there were a single series of images that could express the emotions of the day, it would be this trio:

But really, uncounted moments of natural interaction and love made this day. There was Lisa and Danes connection, and also family and friends to create a special atmosphere. It was a shared and open experience because of these things, one that will bring them joy over and over again.
